APPLICATION

• It is permitted for use in single-family and two-family homes and their attached or detached garages, and their storage buildings for connection of lighting branch circuits and outlets.
• The cables may be used for fixed and temporary installations, exposed or installed within walls, floors, ceilings.
• They can be installed in cable trays in dry, damp, wet and corrosive environments.
In general, its applications are described in Article 334, paragraph 334.10 of the NFPA 70 NEC.


Non-permitted Uses:

The non-permitted uses of this type of cable are described in Article 334, paragraph 334.12 of the NFPA 70 NEC. Some of them are:

• Exposed within a suspended or dropped ceiling cavity in dwellings other than one- or two-family and multi-family dwellings.
• As a service entrance cable.
• In motion picture studios
• In battery storage rooms.
• In hoistways or on elevator or escalators.

Soft copper conductor, concentric stranded, Class B.

Insulation

Polyvinyl chloride (PVC), flame retardant (FR), resistant to heat, abrasion and humidity, free of hazardous substances (RoHS).

Individual Jacket

External cover in polyamide (nylon), resistant to gasoline and oils (GR II).

Jacket

Polyvinyl Chloride PVC, flame retardant, resistant to abrasion, heat and humidity. Flat configuration.
