Eco Construcciones

Circular economy with social impact.

The useful life of reels made of agroforestry wood is finite. After use, they tend to lose consistency in terms of providing grip and cohesion when transporting cables. However, they are still useful for other tasks such as construction and reinforcement of structures.

Based on the above, Centelsa by Nexans created the Eco Construcciones initiative, which involves the construction of units that are transformed into school classrooms, community halls, and other types of buildings located in different communities throughout the country.

What Does Eco-Constructions Contribute?

By extending the useful life of the materials used in our operations, we reduce waste and find new ways to create value. Eco-Constructions connects this circular economy principle with the needs of communities, transforming available resources into spaces that can contribute to education, social integration, and community development.

• Extends the useful life of materials from our operations.
• Reduces waste through the reuse of wooden reels.
• Transforms recovered materials into useful infrastructure for communities.
• Connects the circular economy with social impact initiatives.
