Energy to transform communities

The Nexans Foundation supports projects that help expand access to energy and improve living conditions for vulnerable communities. Since its creation, it has promoted sustainable electrification initiatives designed to generate lasting social impact, recognizing energy as an enabler of development, safety, inclusion, and new opportunities. 

An initiative with regional impact 

In Colombia, Peru, and Chile, the Nexans Foundation works alongside Group companies and social organizations to bring electrification solutions to communities facing gaps in access to essential services. Through partnerships such as the one developed with TECHO, solar lighting projects and volunteer initiatives have been implemented to help create safer, more sustainable, and better-connected spaces, bringing the benefits of electrification to those who need them most. 

These initiatives have reached communities across all three countries, adapting each project to local needs while combining the knowledge, resources, and participation of social organizations and Nexans employees.

What does the Nexans Foundation contribute?

In Colombia, the Nexans Foundation and Centelsa by Nexans have developed several initiatives to bring energy and lighting solutions closer to vulnerable communities. This work, carried out together with partner organizations, seeks to help close energy access gaps and improve community spaces through sustainable solutions that contribute to safety, connectivity, and quality of life.
